This trip is my first collaboration with Cambodian-based UK photographer Dave Perkes and his company Peace of Angkor, based in Siem Reap – the bustling town which serves as the centre for visiting the amazing Angkor Wat complex of temples. There are enormous advantages working with locally based guides and being able to work with a photographer who is based in Cambodia is exceptional.
I travelled to Cambodia and Viet Nam to scout my trips in January/February 2010 and found the area absolutely brilliant – wonderful people, terrific village and urban life, fantastic landscapes, riverscapes and seascapes, animals and wildlife in abudance good food and a very safe environment. Photographically, the area has everything.
The tour commences in Siem Reap Cambodia on 4th March 2010 (international travel can be via Bangkok or KL etc) and finish on 16th March 2010 with an included flight from Luang Prabang, Laos to Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.
